APA Masters TourIt’s often said and it is always true, “If you want to get better, you have to play against better players.”
The APA of Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill is pleased to bring you the best chance you’ll ever have to match against strong players without breaking your bank account! The Masters’ Tour!
No handicaps, no limits, no mercy! This is where the players play and the students learn! Presented by Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill APA, the Masters Tour offers a highly competitive, low entry fee, big payout, opportunity to improve your game quickly through the best teacher of all; real experience.
And for all you big dogs who’ve had to sit out other tours, this is your chance to shoot! If you’re on an APA Masters league, an APA 8-Ball or 9-Ball league, or any other recognized, active APA league team, come out and play for cash and points!
The Rules If you play on a Masters team then most of this will not be new. But some will, so read carefully.
Tour Cards – Every player has a chance to save money on every entry fee by presenting a current APA Master's Tour card. Tour cards are $25 or receive one after participating in three tour events. Current members of the USSF and Ladies Tours only pay $10 for a Masters Tour Card.
Entry Fees – The basic entry fee for each stop is $35. However, with a valid APA Master's Tour card you can enter for only $25!
Tour Events – Play in one, play in five, play in as many as you want. There is no minimum number of events required to play. Stops are held approximately every six weeks over the entire calendar year usually on Saturdays.
Points – Just like the USSF Tour you accumulate points based on showing up and how you finish in each tournament. Four of the stops, including the last one, will be worth double points! You don’t have to concern yourself with points if you don’t want to. We track them for you and at the end of the last stop the winners are announced.
Number of Events – NINE. What more do I need to say?
Handicaps – NNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO…
Prize Money – LOTS! Based on just 16 players per event and the winner is guaranteed $300! More than 16 per event and the numbers are even better!
