The New & Improved APA!

If you haven't played in the APA for a while Welcome Back! We've made a few changes. As a former member, already familiar with the league, we've created this page just for you.

If you register a new team consisting of at least five (5) new players or former APA members who have not played in the APA for at least a year (12 months), you will earn a free APA t-shirt, a free singles board entry, and a free pool cue and hard case.

Come back and join us....we have more to offer than ever!!!

More Teams Headed To Vegas and Increased Prize Funds - Starting with the Summer 2009 Session, we will now pay out over $100,000 in our Local Prize Fund. Our Local APA now qualifies five 8-Ball Teams, four 9-Ball Teams, two Ladies Division Teams, one Mens Division Team, three Masters Teams, and seven Doubles Teams every league year for the National Team Championships in Las Vegas. As we have grown, the number of teams we send to Vegas has increased....so now your chances are better than ever!

What's New:

  • APA 5-Star Sportsmanship Program
In most APA Leagues, and on most nights, things go according to plan and the teams have a great time playing APA pool. We realize however, that occasionally there may be a player or even a team in the League that other players just don't like being around. Usually these players or teams get away with their actions way too long before we are able to take appropriate action. Members simply don’t like to complain unless the problem turns major. With this in mind, the same Pool League that brings you fair competition with it’s EQUALIZER Handicap System, has now put into place a Five-Star Sportsmanship program designed to increase the fun you have playing in the APA. • Stats and Schedules Online
For years members have asked these questions: "What's my lifetime winning percentage?", "I lost my schedule, who do we play this week?", "Did we make the playoffs?", "When do we shoot in the City Tournament?", etc.  The Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill APA is now happy to finally offer our members personalized home pages. We lay it all out for you in custom built pages. It's all there, including some stats we've thrown in just for fun. As a former member, chances are your stats are here right now, waiting for you. • Division Representative Program
Division Representatives are no longer just a name at the top of the page. APA has now created a Division Representative Program that helps weekly league play in your division run more smoothly. Each Division Representative will hold a team captains meeting at the start of the session to inform teams of any new information and/or changes that they need to be aware of, as well as reviewing the basic information teams need to know. The Division Representative is the "go to" person in the host location for questions regarding rules, bonus points, playoffs, city tournament information, etc. If they don't have the answer, they will contact APA and get it for you. In addition, Division Representatives are also helping the host locations with retention of teams and recruiting new players and teams. Division Representatives are appointed by APA and the host location for which they are a Representative. Interested members should contact APA.
