Co-Captain Tournament

You work hard for your team each week carrying the stress of making sure everyone shows up, deciding who to play when, making sure everyone pays before leaving, and of course, checking your scoresheets over and over to make sure you get your bonus points.  Well, it is time to come to a tournament that is being held in your honor - the APA Captain/Co-Captain Tournament!  You don't have any responsibility but to show up and play and have fun!!  This tournament will be held every session for the Captains & Co-Captains in that APA session.

Tournament Format:

• Scotch Doubles
• Modified Single Elimination
• Cash Tournament - APA will add money to the payout
• $40 entry fee per team
• Maximum Handicap - 12
• APA handicapped races (add your skill levels together and divide in half, rounding up if necessary)
• Format - 8-Ball & 9-Ball (Masters players can choose the format they would like to participate in)

8-Ball and 9-Ball tournaments will take place simulataneously on the same day, so if you are a captain in more than one format, you have to chose which format you would like to participate in.  You must be listed first on the roster for your team to be considered the captain and second on the roster for your team to be considered the co-captain.  Players not listed first or second on the team roster are not eligible to participate in this tournament.  Pre-registration is required for each APA Captain/Co-Captain Tournament.  Once the tournament is advertised via the breaking news section of the website, players must register using the online Tournament Registration feature by 12 noon on the Thursday before the tournament is scheduled.
